Killer cocobolo
« on: September 11, 2010, 10:35:00 AM »
I've got the most amazing huge chunk of cocobolo that you could imagine. I'm going to make a riser out of it, I just would like some input on your favorite "big risered" bows. I've always been a Schafer nut, but have been looking at other bowyers lately for my new riser/bow. Got plenty of silvertips.  Chastain makes a big one, but I haven't ever shot one. Any other bowyers you guys like that I could look at?  The bigger the better for me.But I'll check into any you guys want to recommend.

Yeah Sergio, I know. Dave makes a killer bow. But a slightly expensive one too.  Still an option though, just figured I'd check what else was out there.

How about Stalker bows.....by South Cox......or a Wes Wallace Mentor.......perhaps a Hummingbird Kingfisher.......by Ben Graham. All of these are pretty good sized in the "riser" department.
