Have you ever heard of a52" Bodnik Kiowa Recurve

Is anyone familiar with the 52 "Bodnik Kiowa Recurve? If so, does it stack like most short bows? Is it a quality bow? And in general, how does it perform? I saw it as I perused the latest Kustom King catalog. Thanks for your input.Randy

I believe Kustom King may sell them. If ya want a short bow that does not pinch or stack all the way out to 31"s or a more, look at the RER Arroyo. It is 54"s of shooting pleasure! Shawn

Both of your responses confirm my suspicions. I will check out the Arroyo---thanks,

Kinda depends on your draw length. I just got a 52" 52 pound Pearson, don't know what it does past 28" but seems pretty smooth at that draw. My wife says I have to sell it and her 56" Darton 42 pounder and the old Griz 42 pounder, to pay for her lost Creek NAT 54" which will be smooth up to 27". It is being made for her draw. I almost feel sorry for the real long draw shooters sometimes, some bows do hit a brick wall at those stretchy lengths.

I do all my hunting with a 52" 50# pearson.. great little bow. It was made in 69' and has a zebrawood riser.. My draw is around 26" so im not sure how it would act past 28"

I'd rather hold a recurve than shoot a compound
