I draw 29" and I shoot a 54" Black Widow PCH and it is smooth as silk out to my draw and no noticible finger pinch. My other bows are 58",60" and 62".

Thanks Curt!

Thanks for the support and feedback Gang!  Much appreciated.  Looks like South will keep this one in the line up!

Here are two more 56" Stalkers (Surge model) that just arrived in Hawaii.

Ryan,

Outstanding testing and information! I draw 28.5" and much prefer a longer bow. My Stalker Recurve is a 62" pulling 67lbs at that draw. In my own testing my 520 grain arrows chrono at 205 FPS. Laymans terms (fast!).

But more importantly the bow is smooth pulling, no stacking, very comfortable in my hand and it hits where I'm aiming. I much prefer a longer bow for my 3 finger under "Rick Welch" coached shooting style. But I have no doubt that for guys shooting 27" and under a shorter Stalker would be a great shooting and performing bow.

I have shot my Stalker for almost a year and its a great bow! South has really created a bow that easily rivals any custom bow today. I highly recomend a Stalker to anyone looking to shoot a high quality, smooth, fast and beautiful custom bow.

Ryan,

That is a great looking bow. Mine has a Bocote riser with Ebony stripes. I chose Spalted Sycamore for the limb veneer. Hopefully be here by next weekend. Great photo w/ the goats.
