My next 2 pc will be something like
50ish# @ 29" (8-10 lbs lighter than what I have)
60"

As for woods I was thinking of a fall prarie color theme:
More dry Grassland colors like straw and earth brown with - accents of yellow and green and silver.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

F-Manny,

You inspired me. I dropped my second Buffalo deposit in the mail today!

This one is going to be a special tribute bow to my parents and ancestry using only materials found in the area of Portugal where they grew up. Hope to draw blood there with it some day.

I picked Jim because of his artistry and because I like shooting my other Buff.  :D

Congrats Chop!
What woods?
For sure that will be something,a bow made of the old country materials!

One guess, olive tree wood?

I am waiting for the call anyday now to have him start mine! Sounds like he got pushed back a little from when I originally ordered mine!
The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right!!!

That is one of them...
Eucalyptus veneers, Walnut and olive probably in the riser. I also asked him to put 2 nickels one each minted in the years my parents were born.

there will also be a few other accent elements we are still working on like antler tips from my first deer.

Anyway pleanty of time to change and tweak...I can hardly wait to see it and show it to the folks. I think they will be pleased and surprised.
