Help from Alaskan Bowhunters

In spite of the negatives you hear about hunting the Haul Road, for the most part it is a friendly, honest and helpful group.
This year seemed to be our turn to play Good Samaritan.

First we spent 45 minutes helping some guys whose jack would not deal with the flat on the truck with their trailer attached.

Then we spent an hour loaning tools and wax free dental floss (acts like pipe tape) getting some old timer trad guys Rent a Wreck's propane system back in operation.

Finally we lent my Slime Tire pump and plug repair kit to two guys who said they were Air Force. They were to return it to our camp on the river at MP 318. It never happened.

While the money isn't that important, I would like to find that something prevented it's return. The one guy I remember is a big, shaved headed guy about 30. I'm sure there is a good reason why it didn't get ruturned.

If any of you have heard from these guys, please have them contact me in Wasilla.
