Need some help
« on: September 15, 2010, 07:01:00 PM »
I asked in the knife forum and didn't get an answer. So here goes My grandfather had a knife given to him that is either 30 or 40's era maybe 50's not sure haven't seen it. It was burnt up in his mail car and we are looking for someone to refurbish it for him. Hopefully close to Tn but if we have to ship it is ok. Any help is great. Thanks in advance.

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Send some pix & I'll let you know. If all you need is another handle, you can do it yourself. Send pix & I'll either do it or tell you how.

I haven't seen it yet. I was just asked to look around and see if I could find someone to help out. Thanks for the info though guys. If I can I will try to get some pics. It was his fathers knife that was given to him when he was 16 I believe. He is 82 now so it would be cool if I could do the handle I just don't know what i am up against.
