Good luck Biggie and Marty
« on: September 16, 2010, 06:16:00 PM »
Next week Biggie Hoffman and Marty Macmahon are headed up to Maine for a moose hunt with Hunter's Point Guide Service. Just want to wish them good luck and hope we have stories and lots of pics when they return.

Looking forward to the stories as well.  I know they'll be into moose and the timing should be perfect.

It should be fun to hear how it goes. Eldon told  me that they wanted to hunt together. Usually they split their hunters up with different guides. I have a little trouble picturing Biggie, Marty and Eldon all in one canoe at the same time....or Marty and Biggie sharing a tree stand or a Double Bull. I think if I were Eldon I would find a moose suit for Biggie to wear and use him as a decoy. It just might work. Should be interesting stuff.

You lucky guys. Eldon Jandreau is a great guide and person. I'm sure you will get a chance at a moose. He has great success rates.

It has pontoons. Not very often that I am the smallest guy. Saw Biggie once in a canoe alone- Ever hear of popping wheelies?

Marty,

Just remember, you DON'T have to stick to the last-hour-last-day pattern you developed for the bear hunt last Spring.

If you see a trophy moose early in the hunt and have a good shot... it's OK to take it!

Remember, you're a LEGEND, and a l-o-s-e-r no longer.  There's nuthin' left to prove!

Have a great time, and enjoy the "weather," guys.
