Grizzly Stix penetration pic
« on: September 20, 2010, 11:20:00 AM »
From an older post talking about Grizzly Stix and penetration, I finally figured out how to post pics. So here is my buff. Look to the left side and you will see the bright nock just sticking out. It was full length as I was using point of aim for this setup, with a 200 grain STOS 2 bladed head and brass inserts. 76# Silvertip, arrow total was right at 1000 grains. Quartering away you can see this thing buried all the way. I still have the arrow and its shootable, but I have retired it broadhead and all sitting just below this guys mount.
Sorry to hear that some guys have had trouble with the Grizzly Stix. I like them.

Yeeha Yornk! Great info & results. I'm a Grizz fan; however, I get my dbl bvl hair shaving sharper much faster. Gotta figure it's as much familiarity as anything else.

He is talking about grizzly arrows if I am not mistaken straitera. He was using a STOS BHd.

looks like a bison to me, especially with the habitat in which it is located.
