can't find an older post, any help?
« on: September 25, 2010, 05:36:00 PM »
there was a post earlier this summer about a gentleman that had met an old time hunter who told him about an area to hunt back in off a river. this fella went in by canoe, found the old timer's treestand and great buck sign, anyone remember this thread? very courious if he is getting ready to hunt this area or has returned to scout more. was a GREAT read!!

This is the post I was thinking about. I did a search for "when old timers talk". It was posted 3/30/10. I don't know if it's the one you want, but it's a great story.
