Jake, I know I read this before ,but it's still a great story and excellent story telling. I hope once in my life I can be in that same position. I've hunted elk many times in the last forty years and have yet to close the deal. My first nonresident archery elk tag cost $25. I still haven't given up. Thanks for the trip!

I hope and pray that one day I will experience a September Elk hunt with my Silvertip in my hand. Thanks for the story!
