What is "Super Leather"

I have a tab with this stuff that is 4 years old, and only shows very minimal wear. What makes this stuff different then regular old leather?

Stix, It could be Cordovan. I have two of them I got mine from Alaska Bowhunting Supply. Three Rivers is a sponsor & they have them too. I really like mine. Frank
