on a 60" rc what should it be and where do you measure from

You measure from the deepest part of the grip to the bowstring.  The brace height will vary from bow to bow, so if you post what bow you have, someone may know the brace height.  If nobody has any better information, I would start at about 8" and see how it shoots.
