ASAT Noisy - HELP ME
« on: October 12, 2010, 01:14:00 PM »
I know there are other posts about the ASAT leafy suit being noisy but I'm going on my 2nd season with a set. I've washed it at least 12 times and run it thru the dryer with a pair of the wife's tennis shoes several times. The dang suit still sounds noisy to me and I'm sure when it's calm just before dark the deer can hear me either stand up or draw cause I sure can hear it rustle. With my game ears in it's almost deafening.
Now that I've rambled on, here's my question. What more do I have to do to quiet this stuff down????

Wash it in Borax and Baking soda.Borax is a natural fabric softener.

Mine was a touch noisy when I first bought it, but after a few washes it quieted down.

Why not reach out to ASAT?

I have a few of these and after a few washes mine got real quiet as others have stated.

No special washing method or products.

Two washes on mine and a trip in the dryer with the tennis shoes as recommended by the person I got it from.  It is still too noisy for me.
