Blind on my back
«

After promising my wife "no more treestands" I went back to the way I hunted before treestands were invented. The freedom of having my blind on my back and hunting where the wind dictates without moving gear is great. I've had deer less than 10 yds. from me on two different occasions already and just plain enjoy the feeling of being on ground level with them.

What kind of a blind do you use. I use a cabelas blind for turkey hunting and deer do not like it at all! They are scared It is not brushed in very well, its for turkey hunting.

It sure is nice being out in the woods without hauling a ton of stuff. I'll be mostly on the ground myself.

Hunting on the ground is fun, I agree, but I sure love my Windwalker.
God Bless,

No better feeling for me than to beat them on their level!
