Hi Tim, I live west of Bend in the Willamette Valley. But have a spent all my life fishing and hunting and enjoying central Oregon. I'll send you my email address and I'll try and help you out all I can.

Probably someone on here but if not look at TAOregon.com (trad archers of Oregon) website and there will be a contact for the local group. Lots of good guys over there.
I just looked and there isn't contact for TACO (the bend group) but call one of the officers (secretary is in bend area) and they can hook you up with people. Any of those guys will be able to get you hooked up with someone who'll have all the info you need I'm sure.

Lots of great hunting and fishing opportunities in that area. I'd venture that Ron (TreeKiller) could shed some input also.

There is a good trad only archery shop in Bend. 'Archery Past'
run by a fine fellow named Dave Doran. Check it out.

Bjorn, That is interesting, I did not know that there was a trad shop over there but I haven't got away from the shop for quite a while. I'll have to check that out. Thanks and God Bless you, Steve

Tim there is great hunting country for a 150 mi radius around Bend area. Wonderful high mountain lake and river fishing. Lot of shoots ect. Sorry I don't know more about it but I don't get over to Bend area a lot. Ochocos, Umpqua Divide, High Desert around Burns, John Day area are all areas with decent to great hunting. God bless you and good luck, Steve
