Tough spot, very close to a road and the landowners house, and thick as heck....I guess that's why he's there.

Drove an hour yesterday just to set a trail cam by these rubs and work a couple scrapes with some Smokey's pre-orbital and inter-digital gland scents.

The place is just ripped with scrapes and rubs...can't wait for the weekend!

Hopefully I'll at least get a pic of the guy doing this damage, but I'd really rather get a pic of me behind him holding up his head

Sounds like his core area Curt....do ya have a way in with a favorable wind and little noise? Might try getting in there super early and waiting him out.

Been hunting whitetails for a year longer than you Curt, so you probably remember the Jaws movie too.

"I think you need a bigger bow."

I'm chasing one that's got some dandy size to him too. I'm hoping to share pics as well. Last pic I have of him is from 2 years ago as a 130 inch buck. He hangs out by the neighbors too on the edge of my parents cherry farm.
