3 Rivers Archery Cordovan Tab
« on: October 18, 2010, 11:08:00 AM »
Does anyone know if the spilt finger cordovan tab from 3 Rivers Archery is manufactured by Bateman?

I think it is the same tab I have one and they are nice. I will say the the no pinch rubber tore at the leather and was out the third time I shot with the tab. It had a small tear on the rubber when it arrived and I just didn't send it back my fault. 3 Rivers would take it back no question.

I'll second the single finger hole from the boys at Bateman!!! They will customize your tab for you as well. I ordered the large finger hole with a medium tab for a shorter tab. My first tab from them is into it's 5th season and shows no sign of giving up anytime soon. Shoot daily for the most part. Only reason to have a back up tab is in case ya lose the first one. Don't know how long it'll take to wear one out, but 5 years of daily shooting won't do it!!!

I have not tried the single finger hole tab from Bateman, but have their 3-under tabs and the split finger tabs with the elastic band.  I will give them a call today and see about custom ordering a single finger hole tab.  I like the idea of having a larger hole and shorter tab.

Been shooting the Bateman Corovan tab with finger separator for years. Slick and durable. 3-Rivers does not advertize it as a Bateman tab but it will be marked Bateman when it arrives at your home. Great tab.

Great tabs that last a long time. I have one that is 5 years old and is fine. Use a bit of parafin wax on them from time to time.

I don't understand why 3Rivers doesn't list them as the Bateman tab??

After losing my second single finger hole tab a the JLMBH a few years I switched over to the Bateman with the elastic band.  I haven't had any issues.  I ordered a few extra to be sure I was never w/o one, but I'm still on my first tab!

I have two of their (3Rivers) 3 under cordavan tabs (w/elastic finger strap). Are y'all saying they are by Bateman also ? Just curious - I've been using them since I switched to 3 under last Spring, and I like them real well

Never shot the 3 under tab but the split finger cordavan tab sold by 3-Rivers is definitely a Bateman.

I do a lot of shooting with my split finger  Bateman cordovan tab. It finally wore out after thousands and thousands of shots during it's 10 years of hard use.

Hmmm - thanks anyway. My first I ordered from 3 Rivers and the other I saw and recognized on a vendor's rack (name slips my mind at the moment) at ATAR. They agreed it was the same one.
