Jerry Stout Information

I'm a shirttail cousin to Jerry. I own one of his bows and have talked to him personally. It appears that those who know him have a great respect for his skills as a bowhunter. I would like to hear some stories if you have them.
Thanks!

I met Jerry many years ago at a Montana hosted longbow safari, and shot with him in our group (Monty Morevec was our guide). Jerry was the "old" guy of the bunch, and he consistently schooled us younger guys with his shooting ability and his tales. A great time! He makes a fine bow, also.
Beyond that I only know of Jerry what I've been told, but I'll always remember that weekend spent with him, and Monty (with whom I became fast freinds). Gentlemen, both.

Jerry's son Jerry is a friend of mine up here in Anchorage. Jerry built a very nice longbow for me about 3 months ago. It is my go to bow and shoots very well. I have talked with him several times and he is quite the accomplished hunter to this day. I know he just recently got a hog in CA and it seems that everytime I have talked to him, he just came in from shooting or is planning on heading out. His bows are very reasonably priced and the wait isn't that long. He came up here last spring and took a very nice black bear as did Jerry Jr. I would very much like to get down to his part of Eastern Oregon and get out with him. I have contact information if anyone wants it for his longbows(Juniper Mtn. Longbows) Mark
