Hair, Hide, Bone , Wood and Glass

I was shooting my Original OL Adcock bow this morning, and as I looked at it in the spring sunshine, a few things came to mind...is it just me, or is it the epitomy of Traditional Archery...

My longbow has a sealskin rest and Otter balls(Hair), a nice Elk hide Grip (Hide), Antler burr take down knobs (Bone), Bocote, Bamboo, Purpleheart, Birdseye Maple (Wood) and some perfectly clear fiberglass and red/black phenolic overlays(Glass)...Take all these materials and mix em into the bow's construction, and you have a "perfect blend" of what a Trad Bow should be...Now thats just my Opinion......
