ifl setup and looking to buy one

has anyone ever owned a hoyt excel want to get a ilf bow but dont want to drop alot of money and not like it...so if you have any advise let me know..ill be using this for indoor spot targets

I don't own one, but my bud does.

His Excel with carbon Samick limbs at 64" length, 38#, is a sweetheart.
Twist it up, don't pluck, marinate then grill.

Yes the Excel is an ILF bow. It is the lower end of the Hoyt ILF bows. I bought one a few months back and for the money you can't beat it. It will accept all ILF limbs so many different set-ups are possible with this bow.

Shot one this past weekend at Rod Jenkins clinic.  Like it enough I ordered one.

The Excel with Trad Tech Black Max limbs is a good bet..check Lancaster Archery Supply...great guys to deal with!!
