Zebra Cocobolo bows?
« on: May 25, 2007, 12:44:00 PM »
Just ordered my second bow kit from Binghams.... Going with a zebra (with a small strip of walnut)riser and cocobolo limbs, 58" R/D longbow, shooting for 60#.  I am debating and staining the zebra wood, so any pics of stained Zebra would be great too... Thanks,
Semper Fi,
Mike

Personally I think I'd use the cocbolo for the riser and the zebrawood for the limbs.  Unless your just talking a thin veneer of coco, those limbs will be heavy.

I've never stained zebrawood because I like the looks as is (especially with walnut).
