When i shot a compound i used the 2 blade screw in magnus heads, talked to the owner of magnus about the lack of blood , he said they don't leave alot of blood, like a 3 blade would ,but the deer won't go far either. I'm using  magnus 3 blade Snuffers now on my wood arrows.

Nice shot! Congrats! Can't go wrong with a WW or a big Snuffer.
God is good, all the time!!!

Oh, and you can't go wrong with a WW or Snuffer, but maybe try some of the wider 2-blades.  I've had no trouble tracking a deer shot with a Magnus 1 at 1 1/2" wide.  They usually drop in sight though...

Haven't had a chance to shoot one with my Silver Flame DS @ 1 7/8" wide or my Wide Pearson Deadheads @ 1 5/8" wide, but I'd be willing to bet they would lay the trail down also... Can also think about the Centaur heads, either one...

my griz heads are not wide at all, but so damn sharp that despite being 2 blade, I get great blood trails, even with hits that are not perfectly placed. I use a wet stone wheel and then leather strop and they get scary sharp. I do reduce the angle as well. I used to get only marginal blood trails with them until I copied the technique Ashby suggested in reducing the cutting angle and getting them more than just "file" sharp. I figure I have shot 10 deer with them in the past 3 years.
