GRAPHFLEX arrow?
« on: November 03, 2010, 02:03:00 PM »
Anyone know anything about these.  They  are dark grey glass arrows and appear to  be about a size 7 or 8  in microflite size). I am thinking about fletching them up and using them.  Any thoughts?

I shot them back in the 80's.  Seems like they were really heavy.  Don't know why they quit making them but they have been discussed here before.

I shot them a bit back in the day.  They were made by Gordon plastics, as Brian notes, in the 1980s.  The early model was dark grey.  Later they were a sort of yellowish tan color.

I made us lots of dozens and wholesaled them. They shoot great and are about the right finished weight with a 125 grain head.
They are tough also. Ken

They also made the GlasShaft, which was a fiberglass composite.

I had a couple dozen of the I-60 (spine 55-60@28"). Someone in the NE snatched them off the St. Jude auction.

I still have a dozen. Well made, strong, heavy and shot well out of the right bow... then went an lengthened my danged draw!  :)

Jon;  Colors (spine) went; green, black, yellow. red. Green being the weakest. Yellow is recommended for 70# @ 28" bow. Hope this helps.
