Awesome story Kenny.  That type of experience drives ya nuts but then I always cant stop smiling on the ride home with that feeling like you have been snookered.  Unless its the end of the season and then you are just pissed!!

I am saddened to learn a gunner took him out, no more longbow huntin him.

He had a 19.5 spread and 8" bases, that is all I've learned so far. May we have a moment of silence.....

Stay sharp, Kenny.

I've taken some shots I wished I hadn't, didn't take some shots I wished I had.

After hunting a long time with wheels, then a few years with recurves/longbows, back to wheels, back and forth again .... take the shots you think you can make - head on, quarter to, straight underneath you .... if you 100% think you can make it, TAKE IT

I'd bet 2/3 the animals shot and lost are broadside - aka the perfect shot. funny huh ?
