Thanks for sharing. Nice doe! What kind of camera set-up were you using?

Great job, Arwin!  She looks like one for the big doe contest.  You did weigh her, right?

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!!      :notworthy:

 To answer some questions:

Extrema: That call is a Call Zall made by Outdoor Success.

I didn't get to weigh her Fletcher, kinda bummed. This is the second year I have taken a pretty good sized doe without being able to get her on a scale.

Frassettor: I had to start aiming lower on the deer. We've had so much pressure, the deer had been dropping lower than I was used too. Instead of going in high in one lung and low out the other, I had to go low in and lower out, LOL!

Here is my arrows entrance. Normally this would by my exit. The arrow went in at the bottom of the slice. The angle caused a massive hole as the arrow went down into her, slicing upon penetration. It came out the opposite armpit, almost out of the brisket.

Nice job!

In the scene where the little buck pauses I think he saw your shadow moving on a tree down at his eye-level; or perhaps heard you/saw you when you moved the camera.  He seemed to be looking in that direction before he bolted.

Thanks for the video!

Congrats!  Enjoyed this.  How high were you in that tree?

I was thinking the same thing Stumpkiller. I got busted moving the camera. The tree I was in barely has any cover. Bad tree, right spot.    :D

ceme24: Approximately 18ft up, maybe a little higher. I have to be up high since there isn't much cover. A few spots I hunt, there isn't much of a choice for good trees to hunt from but the deer are moving in those areas really good. It's a gamble and you just have to hope they don't see you first.
