Just remember to never forget or set aside the "FUN" factor, you and your wife can enjoy this together for a long time!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Theres a great, fun book thats still in print- "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" by Howard Pyle. The writing is geared toward the younger audience but I just read it again (after many, many years) thoroughly enjoyed it and even inspired me. Never heard but I'll bet it inspired Howard Hill because Robins shooting was quick and fluid as described in the book. Nothing like the new dark and depressing movie.... Phil

I would suggest that you try floresent green i.e. flo green and florescent pink i.e. flo pink feathers.  These are the two colors that my eyes see the easiest.  all of this hooey about camo feathers and camo shafts because the deer can see them is just that.  i have been bow hunting since 1969 and can honestly say that the color of my feathers has never spooked a deer.
