I just recieved a pair of Sitka's Mtn. Pants (VERY NICE), however, they are in the opencountry pattern. I mainly hunt treestands here in Mi, What is your opinion.....will this pattern blend in at 15' in a tree?

I think the pattern will be find in your trees. I believe one can get by just fine with clothing that isn't even camoflauged but I always wear camo -- it is my "uniform". I'm new to Sitka Gear this year although I bought the new tree stand pattern. I have never been so thrilled about hunting clothing as I am these garmets and packs.
I love the Traverse zip up t-top -- I wear only it for 40-70 degrees. On the below 30 days I wear the bibs, traverse T, and the poly down jacket. I also like the beanie for my head over my camo face piece.
The one thing I can't tolerate in hunting clothing is noise.

I find it very effective for tree stand hunting. I've killed several deer wearing it.
And, have never had a problem with deer seeing me that I didn't shoot.
It works!
