beginner trying to make woodies

hey guys im sorta new into trad archery and am thinking about trying to make a batch  of woodies. i have so question that i need answered. 1: if i shoot a recurve marked at 45# what arrow spine should i need to get ( need 32" arrow). 2: whats the best (least exspensive) taper tool? 3: i plan on using poc shafts ( **** is the least exspensive pplace i can find them good enough to start with) i already have a jo jan fleching jig. any other tips or advice you guys have will be greatly appreciated

I shoot 32" arrows with a 29+ draw,45-51# bows. I use 55-60 or 60-65 spine cedar or poplar with 125 gr up front. I get great arrow flight. Taper tools can be from the pencil sharpener type to power type, check out some catalogs.As for tips....keep your arrows simple at first till you see how you do, then get fancy if you need to. I like pretty arrows but shoot plain janes most of the time. I also like to see my arrows in the air so I use bright Fletch, pink, orange yellow,you get the idea.

so i should probly try to get about 55-60 spine arrows correct? and i saw a $6 taper tool at 3rivers, would this be good enought to use?

I think 55/59# is about right for you with a 125gr tip.
Be sure to get them hand spined and hand weight matched. Otherwise there is no telling what you'll be getting.
On the 3Rivers site go to Sale Items and you'll see the Accurate taper tool for $3.99. That will work great for you.
