I am always impressed with simple ideas that provide big results. About 2 weeks ago, Teresa sent me one of her Asbell Wind-Blocker vests. I wore it deer hunting a couple times (even got some blood on it
), but until today the weather just wasn't cold enough to give it a true test. This morning was 28 degrees and a little breezy when I left the house. I wore my synthetic long johns, my usual wool pants, a wool shirt, the Windblocker vest, and one of Teresa's wool pull overs. Kromer up top.
I only stayed out 4 hours, but I could have stayed out all day. Her vest made the difference. I'm kind of a wuss in the cold, and I'm not afraid to layer on the wool. In temps and wind like today, I would have normaly added 1 more wool shirt and a much thicker wool vest. I'm liking this Wind-Blocker. The next test will be January rabbits......
Thanks Teresa, AWESOME!!!!!!
