Main beam
« on: November 27, 2010, 05:59:00 PM »
I just spent an hour reading reviews on the Main beam flashlight sold by Gene and Berry Wensel. I watched the youtube video, were they demo the headband and red lens. I would like to order the light and some accesories, but dont see a way to order the accesories on their site. Can someone get me on track to order. I know this is a Fenix light but I like to support the sponsors. Thanks TERM

I have one and they are as good as it gets for a flashlight.

We quit carrying the red lens, battery caddies and headband accessories. The suppliers kept backordering on us and they were a pain in the ass to deal with. Sorry.

Who cares about all the accessories anyway..... The light is so good you don't need to worry yourself with all that other stuff ! never seen a real need for a red lens, deer are going to hear and smell you walking before they see or worry about the light anyway. We spend out time trimming a path to our stands so we can creep in as quiet as we can and not leave scent on brush, especially the low growing stuff. Battery caddies ? Still using batteries from last year ! Headband, way to big and heavy for what it does. We just use one of those $4 LED hat bill lights from Wally World, IF we even need it for walking in or gutting a deer hands free. The main beam is used for everything else. Best light we have ever owned, period. Love the size, weight and power ratios of this light. We carry enough stuff to the tree now, no need to carry a big, heavy old fashioned light. JMHO
