Can I use boiled linseed oil to refinish a oak selfbow?

I wonder the same question. I would like to know more about using boiled linseed oil. What are its properties. Is it easy to apply?

you can but , another mixture is 50- 50 of boiled linseed oil and tung oil , just applly it generously with your hands rubbing it in let sit for 5 mins. then wipe off and let dry - but the easiest finish is plain old Tru-oil that's what I use on my selfbows .
