I am interested as to how the Krammer built Hill bows compare to the current bows being made?
They apear to have more backset than the current bows?
Thanks
Nathan

I have a 1985 Ted Kramer made 70" 56@28" HH Big Five. It has about an 1.5" of backset. I don't have a modern HH to compare it to

I have one,a Big 5, and it does indeed have more backset than I have seen on other Hill bows. Mine has a dished grip with a palm swell, which I haven't seen either. That said, it's one of the smoothest Hills I have shot.
I'll post more pix later if I can find them.

Ted Kramer built bows for Hill Archery, then his son joined him. Ted marked his bows with the initial "K", but honestly, sometimes the arms slanted and it's hard to make the "K" out of it. His son, Lee, marked with an "L". There are bows they worked on together, and they marked these TLK. I've had all three variations and they all shot well.
