You're essentially right Mudd, but you haven't given all the useful info, like your height, your draw, poundage, weight of arrow you hope to use, use for the bow, etc. Speaking very generally, shorter limb = a touch more speed, longer = a wee tad smoother draw. Also bear in mind that, again in general, string follow = a bit of loss in speed but a bit of gain in smoothness and in forgiveness.
