Volcano question
« on: December 08, 2010, 03:34:00 AM »
I see 3Rivers has marked down the Samick Volcano to $210. I do own a Samick Sage which I bought earlier this year while waiting for PSE to make good on their warrantee. Cheap and rough around the edges it may be, but the Sage is one sweet shooting bow for its price.
Now I am toying with the idea of getting the Volcano simply for the sake of having a one-piece that fits and shoots like the Sage.
Does anybody have any experience with the Volcano and better yet, with both the Volcano and Sage?

I've read nothing but good reviews on the Volcano. Try a search for it, should get some hits.

I owned a Volcano a couple years ago and liked it.  I thought it was a great shooting bow for the price.  I like clear glass on my limbs, it accepted FF strings, no wait time unlike most custom models...  It blew a Stinger right through this little guy so quick he didn't know how to react-- 12 yd recovery!

3 Rivers, a sponsor here, has a bunch of customer reviews on the Volcano. It got a near perfect rating.
