Crazy you mention the neoprene, I just stopped over to a friends house and he had a pack of little sheets of it hanging in his garage. He had just bought it to put on a few of his hunting things. I remembered reading your thread so I purposely stared at the name and address of the company. Now that I am home I am drawing a blank,go figure.

I used to have a brass canteen that was carried in a canvas pouch, military. I made fresh hot tea with stick fires, I shot two deer from my favorite morning tea break spot while the kettle was on. I lost it somehow, and have not found one like it since.

I always use a pre-heated stainless steel vacuum bottle with a wool sock around it. Seems to last me most of the day.

just when you think about getting down a cup of coffee and a payday candy bar and you are good for a while longer. had a friend that smoked so much on the stand that every story started off with i was smoking one putting one out or lighting one. he always had good stories.
