your in good hands here and the tide has definately turned for you. I was the same way as you and now after only killing one doe this year with my recurve i have never thought about looking back. It is all about the experience, not the kill. That is what Traditional archery is all about. I am going hunting with some buddies of mine this weekend and next that all shoot wheelies and they told me that i should bring something that i can actually kill something with. I am going to laugh when i pass thru a deer with a 600 grain arrow shooting 180 feet per second.Hopefully will post some pics after the hunt

Welcome.  This is a great community for sharing and learning.  You seem to be on a fast track.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Hi Matt, and welcome!  Although not a pro-staffer, I was shooting BowTech compounds until this year as well.  Sold my Patriot in the spring and now only shoot an osage selfbow, an Apex Predator 66" Cumberland longbow and a Fedora 52" Stalker recurve and I'm loving archery more than ever!
