How Can I Improve my Grip on My Bear Grizzly??
« on: December 13, 2010, 06:23:00 PM »
Hey all,

I have a 71 Grizzly that I like but I tend to sweat a lot and it starts slipping a bit while shooting.  I took an old piece of innertube and rolled that on my longbow grip and it works great.  I don't think I can get the innertube wrap all the way up my Grizzly to the handle so I am looking for other options.

Any ideas?

Larry,
I got an innertube grip on a Super Kodiak that I was using for bowfishing at the time. Takes a little work, but you can get it. That being said, I ended up dropping the shelf, reshaping the grip, and refinishing the whole bow. I like it a heck of a lot better now.

I  use mtn bike inner tube and put it on with water, sometimes a bit of soap.
