I know that Nate has been shooting the proto type, the Expedition will be a great addition to his line! I know that LimbLover has the inside scoop  his new modeland as soon the bow is ready for orders I am putting an order in! I have already asked him about doing building me one with a some type of Green colored riser!

Well...the cat is officially out of the bag lol.

Nate has been shooting the prototype for a couple of months now and is really happy with it. He says that it hardly stacks up to 32" and is a really smooth shooter.

I've got prototype #2 in production as we speak. I don't have the details as I've asked him to surprise me. I may even have it over the holidays. If that is the case, Ripforce and I will be testing it in the field extensively and will review it for Nate and those who are curious.

I'm approaching this as a skeptic being that I've never shot a bow below 60". I'm worried about stack and pinch at a 31" draw. I'm not thinking this would be a bow I would shoot every day, but I think it is intended to be a utility bow for hunting situations and traveling and I am in dire need of a bow like that right now with a new little one and no trunk space lol.

We will keep you guys posted!!

I am positive that any bow that Nate puts out there will be a performer with looks to boot.

I will hopefully get a chance to try all of the different styles he ends up building.

But right now I'm only looking forward to putting my hands on my new longbow 68" 48@28, all yew limbs with black glass w/matte finish and a Bacote, straight wedge shaped handle.

I had hoped for it in time for Santa but won't be holding my breath...lol

Not a fault of Nate's but of my own making by taking so long to decide exactly what I wanted.

God bless, Mudd

Same. I told him to take his time. No rush. I've already got two beautiful bows to shoot.

I'm sure his new bow will be as good as his others! I'll eventually get one..

Nate's a good guy, he used to live in the area I live in now and he used to eat breakfast at a store we regulary visit, the name Bama bows actually comes from this little corner of Alabama! I thought it was interesting whenever he told me

Well guys...I drove to the post office this morning and picked up a box from Tulsa. I had to go straight to work after but I couldn't help tear it open in the parking lot and check out my new Bama Expedition.

I'll get you pics as soon as I get home. If it shoots half as good as it looks, this is going to be my primary hunting bow.

I had Nate surprise me with the woods so I'm not sure what it is made of yet. I only requested that the riser be Bloodwood with cocobola highlights. Core appears to be yew or bamboo. Limbtips are bloodwood, bone, and a strip of phenolic. He is now using a different lacquer as well.

More to come...

I can't wait to take them. I'm still skeptical about shooting a bow this small.

Getting through the day is TOUGH with that thing sitting out in my trunk.
