Fleece isn't going to take the dye.
You may have better success using a fabric paint. You can get them at craft stores or large fabric stores like Jo-ann (there is one in Florence).

If you look too dark up in a tree, sit on the ground.    :smileystooges:   sorry, I'm no help.

I've found that the darker patterns work really well in soft wood trees like big pines and hemlocks as long as you have a multiple trunk situation or really good background cover. They aren't so good in stand alone hardwoods like oak and maple. I also have a leafy suit that I wear over my darker camo when I feel it would be helpful. It also seems to me that after leaf fall in the Fall, staying well camoed gets to be a tougher predicament than the early season.

You could buy a set of Leafy Wear camo leaves and pin/sew them on.  It will help break up the dark look....

get an XL or XXL (or bigger) T shirt and wear it over your other garment.  $20 or so and you can still use what you got and change patterns every day.  Day One and others makes good quality camo T shirts in a number of patterns.

I should qualify this by saying that polyester fleece won't take the dye. If the suit is wool it will dye fine. I suspect the suit is polyester but I'm not sure.
