Heavy spine arrow tester needed
« on: December 21, 2010, 11:17:00 PM »
I have a 29" BOP 90 lb spine fir arrow that has a Reparrow foot.  It's more spine than I can shoot, so I need an active stump shooter to put this thing to the test.  Any takers?

My Black Widow TF 60# likes a 90 spine. I'd be happy to blunt it into some stumps as soon as the snow melts. Maybe someone a little farther south can help you out sooner.

I'd be up; for the test, Rick. We don't have much snow here currantly, and my 62 lb. longbow shoots #90 arrows well with heavy enough heads...

Send it my way.  I have a 91# longbow that I'd stick a few stumps with it and see how it holds up.

I shoot a 70# Hill and would love to beat the crap out of it if you want.

If you're having a drawing, put me in. I shoot 80# Hills & stumpshoot near everyday. I'll give it a workout. No problem to defer to my friends here first.

The arrow will be on it's way to Shaun in the morning and it looks like I'll be making a few more.  I'm gonna find out just how tough these things are.

We shoot nothing but wood, and we are already shooting 85# POC shafts and use Reparrow tips when we have the opportunity; my son has recently moved up in spine to 85/90. So if you need another tester let me know.

Acknowledged your generosity on another thread which didn't seem to take off so I'll do it here. Much Thanks. Merry Christmas & HNY to you & your family.

Straitera, I saw it and appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Bjorn, I'll see what I can do.  How long BOP?

29-29.5 BOP will work for my son. If your card is full we'll catch you next time. Actually, you don't really need to send us anything Rick, we have at least one arrow here that is over 85# and already has a reparrow on it. What would you like us to test?
