New Bow!
« on: December 22, 2010, 09:09:00 AM »
I was told some time ago that if you want to put away money for something try saving $5 bills. At the end of the day any $5 bills you have put them aside. $10 bills are tough to save and $1 bills take forever to add up. I have been doing this for awhile now and came up with enough $ to put a good deposit on a new bow.

I decided after much research to get the BamaBow Hunter! It'll be 50# @ 28". Riser will be curly maple, tips/overlays will be zebrawood. The limbs will be bamboo and it'll have an accent strip made from bocote. Surrounding the grip will be brown leather.

Needless to say I am very excited!

Never shot one myself, but I have heard nothing but good from owners of Bama Bows. Have fun!

Excellent choice! You're gonna love it. I have a Bama Hunter almost like yours will be, except I had Nate stain the Curly Maple dark, and it's a 2pc. He builds a superior bow. Make sure we get to see pics when you get it.
