This is how I make my glue on heads.  I know you asked about screw on heads and I did basically the same thing with a 125 gr target blunt.  Slotted it and glued the blade in place.  The head can then be screwed on as normal.  It shoots very well.

Screw in point with a washer behind it. Get a washer about the size of a quarter and take the dremel and cut V (3-4) shaped notches out and then bend them forward toward the point.you can even use aluminum washers, make sure the whole is smaller than the back of the field point.

Along with the Judo and Tiger Claw...I also use the Zwickey Scorpio behind a field point. Acts just like a Judo, will slide up on thinner arrow shafts which helps grab the ground and arrows fly great.

This is what I use . Get a field point a little larger than you shoot cut the tip off to make a blunt then put an adder behind it. Some times I take a drill and put a cup on the end of the blunt.

Best thing I have used .
