Goose feathers are thinner and will not last as long, and make a little more noise than turkey, but you can not beat them for rainy day hunting, almost purely waterproof.

Like stringstretcher says.  Goose doesn't last as long but are the best for rainy/drizzley days.  I just fletch 4 or 5 out of a dozen, test shoot them to make sure of flight, and only use on those wet days.  This year we shot a bunch of sandhill cranes and I processed the feathers and wow!!!!!!!!!  They last like turkey but are still waterproof.  Plus you can get a full large fletch.  (they are sizeable birds)  Have fun!!!

I 've used snow geese for years 20 years out of my selfbows. They not as durable as turkeys. And if your one of those hunters that need your feathers water proff. There naturalty water proof.and stay that way.

goose fletchings aren't as tough as turk, but not by a whole lot.

however, goose fletchings are far more water resistant.
