I've had a serious hankering to hunt geese over decoys for a long, long time.
Problem is, I don't personally have a spot to do it.
I see there's a late season coming up in late Feb./ March(in the southern ny section) that might give us time to put a hunt together.
http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/28496.html Anyone out there with a cornfield or something similar, that might want to share with a couple TG'ers to get together to fling some arrows at some honkers?
I mean how much fun would it be to get them right over the deke's, totally committed, backflapping about ten feet off the ground and let an arrow go....how cool would that be!
I know I could get 4-5 guys right off the top of my head that would be in...probably couldn't make it too big...I guess it would all depend on the property...
I have flu-flu's and bh's ready to go....
Merry Christmas to all...
