Duco ! Buy it at Family Dollar for $1 a tube. You can also find it at 3 Rivers Archery, O'Reilly auto parts, Ace Hardware, etc, etc.

I use Platinum fletch tite for aluminum and wood arrows with a lacquer finish.I use Duco on wood arrows with a polyurethene finish.Hot melt would melt your nocks,I use hot melt for metal points on wood arrows.

I use Platinum Fletch Tite for aluminum arrows and Duco for wood. The wood arrow arrow shafts are dipped in gasket lacquer before attaching the nocks.

A little dab of glue and twist the nock on the taper to spread the glue out evenly.

Duco for wood, put a dab on the end and twist the nock as you seat it.

Use Duco or Fletch tite as others have suggested. Hot melt will melt/deform and weaken the nocks and you'll never get them on straight.

I've always used Duco and experienced no problems.
