whisper stik bows
« on: January 07, 2011, 03:59:00 PM »
i'm strongly considering getting on the list for a new bow.  i'd like to hear some opinions form people that have one or have shot one of these bows.

fyi....i'm thinking of 62" mojostik with an ebony riser with cocobolo limbs.

Blaino, I have a 60" 53# @ 28" Mojostik and I really like it. Nice combination of speed and accuracy. Love the style of this bow.

I've got a 58" 59# @ 28" mojostik. It is all bocote. It is extremely fast, smooth, and whisper quiet. It also has a great grip and is flat out beautiful.

That makes 2

I'm partial to the kajika stik myself!  Pretty bows and they are shooters.

JD makes a fine bow. You might want to try his standard grip because it's a little different. I like his locator grip. All in all his bows are top notch.

JD makes a great bow. His Mojostiks are superb. If you like a one piece 50's style bow, his are one of the top bows out there. Very good value

I pulled out my Whisper stik again yesterday. I was shooting it well last year but will take some reacquainting.  The grip is a little differeent than my other bows but this bow performs welll and is a looker.

It is Tambotie and African black wood Riser/ bamboo and Marblewood limbs.   :readit:

I have two 56" Mojo Stiks,48 and 53 lbs.I can't say enough good things about them. They are fast, quiet, smooth drawing and beautiful.I have owned a couple similar style recurves, one that was 60" and just beautiful but the Mojo stiks have just been easier for me to shoot well. These are two of my all time favorite bows.

did you get on the list?

I've shot the Mojo and the Kajika and acquired a Voodoo that came it yesterday....
Of all of them I've got to say the Voodoo is my favorite.  Wow what a shooter this bow is!  Dead in hand, great grip...and took me a whole 10 min to tune to shooting bullet holes!  My 2nd round of tuning cost me a $10 shaft as I ran the 3rd arrow I shot 6" into the but end of the 1st arrow...I hate a Robin hood!  Anyone have use for a 5' long arrow before I pull them apart?  LOL  :knothead:

Can't reccoment JD's bows enough!
