I think this is my third season wearing mine, pants, jacket, vest, pullover. all work great and keep me warm . good stuff when you gotta hunt in the cold and wind.( never noticed any noise with any of mine..)

In terms of noise I have an outfitters berber fleece jacket with the wind shear and it definitely rustles when I move in it. So much so that I rarely wear it.

A friend has the wooltimate with the wind liner and his is much quieter. I was very impressed with his in terms of noise compared to my berber jacket.

I have a sweater that is noisy, bur I have a pullover and parka that don't make a sound.  I used my parka in AK at -20 and it was AWESOME.

I really like mine, pulling the burrs out of them takes a little doin but it gives me something to do sitting around the camp fire at night.

I am getting a pair of pants to go with the jacket. From what I'm reading they size a little small and I should go up. Any opinions?

I think sizing is accurate, they just don't stretch any because of the windshear material.

I was referring mainly to the windshear lining itself not the outer jacket material.

I have no problem with noise I have the jacket and pants. I've been wearing mine in PA and its been pretty cold lately and I have been very pleased. I just need to get some wool long johns and I should be fine my under armour cold gear doesn't cut it in this weather.

I own the pullover and the jacket and absolutely swear by both.  They do weight a little bit but when on backpacking hunts I still pack one of them so when I get up to a windy cold ridge to sit I can put it on.  In my opinion the pullover is a lot warmer than the jacket but my jacket is big enough I can wear multiple layers underneath and it has plenty of pockets.  If I could only have one it would be the pullover which is my go to gear.

You just helped make up my mind.   I have the pants and vest and have been eyeballing that pullover for a while now.   I'm gonna pull the trigger.  Darn it ,   I see they raised the on sale price 20 dollars on all of it .

I just picked up the pants, pullover, and beanie a week or so ago. I've only worn them in the field once and so far I love them! I was wearing the pullover with just a T-shirt underneath the other day. Temperature was about 40 with 15mph winds and I was comfortable on my 3 hour sit. Sizing is accurate.

Good afternoon,

I have the set and the windproof liner is quiet on mine.  Have a size large pullover and a medium vest, the vest fits better on top of the pullover.  The vest is to big to wear by itself.  I'm 5' 10" tall and weigh 165.

Hope that helps!

Have the pants, pullover, hat, gloves and just got another pants and pullover for Christmas. Got them for 1/3 the price before christmas with free shipping. Worn it for years and great camo pattern.

I've had mine for 3 years.  As someone said. It is heavy compared to just wool.  But mine is dead quiet.  I'm not sure what some are saying. . I'm a sticker for quiet great also.  my predator fleece is the quietest I own but the wooltimate is nearly on par with it.  Great stuff and gray price esp when on sale. . I have jacket pants and beanie. . ialso agree the jacket runs big. For layering it is  good.  buy without reservations.
It does pick up tons of burrs though.

Great feature that you can wash it at home also
