Huntin' to Stumpin'
« on: January 14, 2011, 07:42:00 PM »
Tomorrow is the last day of archery season here in Missouri but today was my last day to get out this season.
Unfortunately had stuff going early morning so I didn't get out till later in the morning.
Pulling into the empty parking lot I decided I would just do some roaming around and check out parts of the area I had not been.
Even though my last day hunting wasn't really hunting I had a great morning just walking and listening and forgeting about the pressures of modern life.
Stress relief at its best  :)

Nothing like a stickbow in the woods

Got one!

And another

Yew looks good against the snow!

Anyway those were just a few pics of my morning.  I have to say even though I didn't get anything for the freezer it was still a great day and season.

Eric.

First off, great looking rig, beautiful woods, nice snow, & outstanding attitude to match. Stumping is great fun & practice. Never hesitate to kill stumps.

Stumping and roving  is still my favorite way to spend a day in the woods .
Beautiful place you have there .
