Hey ya'll,
I really like the way that a tab shoots for me, feel like I shoot better with one. The downfall is that they are so small I miss place them every time I turn around. This is why I like the glove, Its bigger and harder to misplace but it straps to the wrist so its harder to loose. So I put my head together to create a TABSLING.
Layed out my pattern on some light cardboard. The tab, wrist strap and sling.
Once I had my pattern I layed it out and cut it out of some leather that I picked up, don't even know what kinda leather it was, I have been making tabs from it for a longtime.
Once the pieces are cut out I slip the two ends of the wrist strap through the slit in the sling.
Once I had the ends through, I went and pulled the other end through the tab.
With both ends pulled through, I went back to the wrist strap and took super glue and glued a small piece of leather to each end of the strap to prevent the strap from being pulled through.
On this one, I did the same thing on the tag end of the strap on the string side of the tab.
Here is the final product.
Here is the original version and the second. So far I have enjoyed the way they have worked for me. Just though I would share it with you guys.
Thanks
Boswell
