had a vivid dream last night.
« on: January 21, 2011, 04:21:00 PM »
Last night I had a vivid dream of a longbow and it was so amazing now I'm itching to buy it,  Ebony riser with a curly maple accent stripe, checkered medium heel handle with finger grooves, curly maple belly and back veneers.  Bighorn sheep tips and fingergrooves (front of the handle)  It was seriously the most beautiful bow ever, what a vivid dream.

I am looking at Centaurs now and itching to order one, do you guys think the wood combos I listed would make for a awkward looking bow or a natural beauty?

Ughh more money being spent =(.  lol

I too had a dream involving a longbow and a nice buck...lol

Mine happened a long time ago but it's still as vivid today as it ever was.

But that's a different story....lol

I hope your dream comes true for you!

God bless,Mudd

Sounds like it will make a nice looking bow.

Post pics when you get it.

I think you have to go with the dream, any one else's opinion be darned.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I agree with maineac and in addition think that combination of woods would be spectacular.

Go for it! Sounds great! I love curly maple, and I think the contrast will be striking!

gonna order it in the morning, 12 month wait period =(.  The horn on the finger grooves, and tips along with the contrasting woods is going to make for a legendary bow.

58# at 28" sounds about right, can't decide if I want 58" bow or 60" hmmm

Guys before I order and I just want to know opinions of Centaur owners with low medium or high heel.  My hand isn't too large but I was thinking of medium heel.
